About PETER

My name is Peter Nyarko Dankwa, the guy behind Peter’s Box. I am a life enthusiast who believes in continuous learning. I earned my first degree in aerospace engineering in 2017 from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana. I am an advocate of self-development, so I am not limited by my engineering background.

I became a Toastmaster in 2019 to hone my public speaking and leadership skills. I have served as sergeant-at-arms, secretary, and president for Busy Speakers Toastmasters Club, in that order. In the 2022–23 Toastmasters year, I served as the Area Director for Area 33, Division M Ghana Toastmasters, with oversight over four clubs. I am presently the Programs Quality Director for Division M Ghana Toastmasters for the 2023–24 Toastmasters year. I have mentored many Toastmasters in their journey to become effective communicators and leaders.

It was through an elective project in Toastmasters that I built my blog, Peter’s Box, in July 2022, exposing me to the world of content marketing. I am a blogger, content marketer, copywriter, and graphic designer. My love for detail is not only evident in my writing skills but also philosophy and photography. I am a strong believer in do-it-yourself projects. My first do-it-yourself project was learning how to play the recorder (similar to a flute). I taught myself how to solve the Rubik’s cube during the COVID-19 lockdown. I am still an active speedcuber. Before the Rubik’s cube, I explored the length and breadth of the chess game in high school. Currently, I tutor people of all ages on the Rubik’s Cube and chess.

I also speak Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and Swedish, in order of fluency.
